Introduction For Creating Great Quality Backlinks
Quality Backlinks I've red to much about backlinks, so now it's time for me to write about it! In this article I will explain the golden rules to build up quality back-links for your website or blog. Keep in mind that everything needs time and that you can't achieve success by doing noting. There are quite a lot of rules so be patient and keep on reading.
What are backlinks and why do I need them ?
Well backlinks are links that are very important to get higher in the google page ranking or in the ranking of any other search engine like yahoo. Different kinds of backlinks exist, to keep it simple there are bad ones and good ones. All these links are incoming links that bring traffic from site B to your site A.
One Way Backlinks : Simple and logically one link from site B to your site A.This is the best backlink that you can get. It's like a vote from site B to site A.
Reciprocal links : Also called link exchange one link from site B to site A and from site B to site A. Google doesn't loves these backlinks. As matter you will be punished for this in your rankings. Only do this is if site B is really worth it and relevant to your site.
Three Way Method: This is linking for example all your blogs to each other site A links to site B links to site C and C to A ... This kind of backlink is the worst in his kind. Never do this because it isn't worth it. Google will see if you're linking all your blogs (they have all the same IP) . Attention: If you do this you will be banned from the search engines.
How does Google looks at these backlinks?
A good quality backlink for google is a backlink from a high ranked page. This will give you a little percentage of it's page rank to your page. Another factor is the subject of the page that links back to your page. If the subject is relevant, then google will see this as a quality backlink. Don't post your link on a page about pizza if your page is about money. Last but not least is the anchor text of the backlink. The anchor text must be relevant to your page. Does your backlink has all these characters, then you have a great quality backlink! All the search engines will rank your website, based on the number of backlinks you have, but every search engine uses different techniques to rank there pages.
Another kind of link
The internal link, it isn't really a backlink but, still very important. Linking your posts in a blog or pages in your website to each other helps you getting higher in the google page rankings. Don't abuse them or you will be punished. Chose different kinds of anchor text and don't make any duplicated inbound links. Keep the anchor text relevantto your page or post.
If you buy back-links
You won't buy them because if you're discovered they will ban you from the search engines. If you want to invest money into backlinks you don't only need to buy high ranked backlinks. Google will see that you're buying back-links and therefore punish you. You need to have a natural mix of different numbers of PageRank. TIP: only talk about this in chats and don't talk about it on forums ...
Best of the best back-links
Back-links .edu or .gov are really good. Google loves them so try to get these ! TIP:keyword site:.edu+.gov find them and try to create some backlinks down there. Keept it clean and don't spam your links ! The first thing hat you need to to is read the article. To find good backlinks I've found a good tool that sets the pages with the highest PageRank first. It's a great time saver.
Links from directories..
These won't help you a lot, so just add your URL to high ranked ones. And avoid link farms.. Adding your site to web directories is a good way to make your blog or website known. Google doesn't trust all of these web directories, what you need to do is try to get your website into Dmoz, this one of the few directories that google trusts (PageRank of 8).
Naughty and prohibited
You know adult sites, poker, pharmacy, porn, porn .. never go to these sites! They could just ruin your plan to get PageRank 8! They are like poison for your website or blog.
Sandbox effect
This is a really important one. How older your backlink is how greater the quality of it. Did you know about the sandbox? New blogs or sites are often put into a sandbox for 60 to 120 days (against spammers). This is one of the main reason that new blogs don't get enough traffic. Once you're in the sandbox, it will be harder for you to get traffic thrue your keywords. It's a good method against spammers, but sadly it also affects normal bloggers.
Keep it natural
More then 60 backlinks a day is not natural and certainly not for a young website so don't overreact. A normal growth of 8 backlinks a week is acceptable. Just be a human and not a robot. One day you will need to add 1 backlink the next day you will add 2 and some days none. Mass submit is for spammers and those people
will get punished by the search engines. TIP: all the comments that you post on wordpress or blogger blogs are "rel=nofollow", they don't produce any juice for your website, but still are great for incoming traffic. To check this you need to view the page source first and then search (ctrl+F) for "nofollow".

1. Be active on forums and put your website url's in your signature.
2. Don't spam comments
3. Use the good tool that I've mentioned.
4. Link building needs a lot of time so you need to have patience.
5. Add your URL to webdirectories and social bookmarkings. Social Marker helps.
6. Submit your articles in free article submission sites like ezinearticles.com
7. Check your backlinks once in a while. (e.x with iwebtool.com or Yahoo Site Explorer )
8. Register yourself in Social Communities like FaceBook or MySpace and make friends.

A. Yahoo Answers: good place to comment with a lot of traffic. PR8
B. Craigslist: post your post here PR6
C. Squidoo: good place to comment, less better then Yahoo, but still good.
D. HubPages: Nice to comment, but you don't get link juice.
E. Mylot: Nice place to comment and you get paid for it.
